peppercorn chai poached pears


2 C sweet white wine
1 C water
1/4 C sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
2-3 large firm pears, peeled, cored, and halved lengthwise
1 Raw Spice Bar Spice Pack - Peppercorn Chai


Combine wine, water, sugar, salt, cinnamon stick, and spice pack in a medium saucepan; bring to a simmer. Add pears; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until tender. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
